Lessons work! Whether you are a first timer, want to be more confident and stylish in your skiing, or would like to discover some of Turoa’s secret spots, Turoa has a programme to suit.

Options include group and private sessions for skiing and snowboarding, multi day programmes mid-week and during the school holidays and special programmes such as Amarula - Powderhorn Women’s Programme and the Rossignol Turoa Race Team.

You will need to be prepared for your day on the mountain as alpine weather can change very quickly, as a guide, you will need warm layers of clothing with wool or polypropylene next to your skin. A windproof/waterproof jacket and leggings, hat and gloves, warm socks, sunscreen and sunglasses or goggles.
