FACILITIES:The road to the carparks is fully sealed with no road toll. Chains are required at times and Turoa provides a chain hire and fitting service on the mountain. Free shuttle buses operate regularly between the lower car parks and the base area carrying skiers and their gear.
There is a huge variety of accommodation in Ohakune with more than 20 options to suit all budgets. The range includes a camp and cabin ground, budget bunk rooms, self catering motels, self contained chalets and fully serviced hotels. Bed and Breakfast options are also available.

For the protection of our customers, the New Zealand Police regularly visit the resort.
This electronically timed, dual slalom race course will be open throughout the season. Race for your own best time or compete against a friend -it’s set for all levels and can cater for clubs, lodges, groups and schools.
