
LOCATION:Treble Cone is situated in the Southern Lakes region of the South Island of New Zealand and receives plenty of light, dry, southern powder.
The closest town is Wanaka (19km away), situated on the shores of Lake Wanaka. Wanaka is 288 km from Dunedin. 79 km north-east from Queenstown.
There is a 7 km gravel access road up to Treble Cone. This is graded and gritted daily throughout the season. Chains are only required on average about six times a season but should be carried by all vehicles. The road is suitable for motorhomes. There is no fee to use the road.
CHAIN HIREChain hire is available in Wanaka from the BP service station and Racers Edge Planet Snow. Chains are not available for hire on the mountain.
Free parking is provided in three large car park areas near the base building. Our car parking attendants will direct you to your park. Families with children in the car will be directed to the car park closest to the base building.
