FACILITIES:

SKI PATROL

Ski Patrol is provided by appropriately trained club members or staff who are hired to help run the field during the height of the season.

CANTEEN / TICKET OFFICE

The Canteen / Ticket Office is located beside the car park. This facility issues lift passes, tow belts and information an also has food, drinks, glove protectors, and other items on sale. This is the hub of the ski area during the season.

DAY SHELTER

The Day Shelter is situated beside the canteen for use as a lunch hut, rest area or simply to shelter from the elements. Toilets are just a few steps away on the car park.

EQUIPMENT HIRE

Equipment Hire is NOT available on the mountain. The nearest outlet offering this service is the Ski Shack in Fairlie.

GroomerSNOW GROOMER

The club’s groomer is used extensively on the lower slopes to pack wide easily handled runs and to help retain snow cover, while higher up the mountain, trails are also packed as required to ensure maximum use of the entire lift system.

ACCOMMODATION

Fox Lodge is situated just 3km below the base facility and provides bunk room accommodation (bring your own sleeping bag and pillow) for up to 50 people in a very pleasant tree sheltered location. Facilities include 240 volt electricity, gas ovens, cooking and eating utensils, plenty of hot and cold water, showers, drying room, flush toilets, comfortable bunks, and good friendly company. Bookings can be made at the canteen but prior contact with the club will help to avoid the disappointment of no bunks being available.
