
TRAVEL
TO CHARLOTTE PASSCoaches service the Snowy Mountains area from Sydney and Canberra and interstate.
There are regular services to Cooma, the closest airport to the skifields. Coaches meet most planes, however you would need to check with the individual airlines. There are also taxi and hire car services available for transfer from the airport to all resorts.
From Sydney travel the Hume and Federal Highways to Canberra, then the Monaro Highway to Cooma and finally the Kosciuszko Road via Jindabyne to the Skitube Bullocks Flat Terminal on the Alpine Way. Approximate travel time is 6 hours.
From Melbourne travel north on the Hume Highway to Albury/Wodonga and follow the signposting east to Corryong and the Alpine Way via Thredbo to the Skitube Bullocks Flat Terminal. Approximate travel time is 7 hours.
From the Perisher Skitube terminal oversnow transport can be arranged to the resort.
Overnight parking is not available in Perisher. Overnight parking is available at the Skitube Bullocks Flat Terminal.
Only on rare occasions will chains be required. Listen to local radio for up-to-the-minute road reports.
OVERSNOW
TRANSPORT & TIMETABLEThe only access to Charlotte Pass Village is by oversnow transport (Snowcats) from Perisher Valley. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. If traveling by car, park at Ski-Tube Terminal Bullocks Flat and travel on the scheduled train service to Perisher Valley.

A Kosciuszko National Park daily usage fee (also a 12 month pass) per car is payable at the entrance gate. This fee goes towards the upkeep of the National Park, conserving the environment for your enjoyment and for future generations. Note that Park use fees are included in Skitube fares.
