With our gentler, smoother, and less crowded slopes, learning to ski or snowboard is easier than you think. In fact, in no time at all, youll be confidently linking those turns in front of your family & friends.
Its easy to decide if Mt Buffalo is right for you! If youre after super trails, hyper trails, discos, 2km black diamond runs and big, busy ski resorts then Mt Buffalo is not for you (sorry about that). However if small, friendly and fun is OK and youre really looking forward to the excitement of an unique winter holiday then Mt Buffalo is it!
You will find that our scenic and sheltered ski bowl provides easy access and lots of fun terrain to explore and enjoy.

Mt Buffalos Cresta Valley is a scenic, sheltered ski bowl, with 3 poma lifts and 2 chairlifts. Our lift operators often get to know you by name. Most of the lifts service beginner and intermediate slopes whilst the Cresta Poma and Cresta Valley chairlift open up some challenging intermediate/advanced areas for skiers & boarders.
Mt Buffalos other ski area, Dingo Dell, is located just before Cresta Valley and is open in peak periods. Its rolling, uncrowded terrain and 2 poma lifts will help you develop your skiing & boarding skills.
And of course, theres the magic of Mt Buffalos picturesque cross country trails, past granite boulders and snow laden snowgums! And the good news is that the use of the cross country trails is free on Mt Buffalo.
SNOW PLAYSpecial areas are set aside on the plateau for you to enjoy the snow without relying on skis. One is at Dingo Dell and another across the road from the Cresta Day Visitor Centre.

Mt Buffalo an enchanting winter playground, has attracted visitors and skiers for over 60 years. Indeed the ski resort at Mt Buffalo is one of the oldest in Australia.
