CROSS
COUNTRYMt Baw Baw is cross country skier's paradise. There are 10km of sheltered, well marked, groomed trails to suit every level of cross country skier. The beginner's trail close to the village provides the novice with an ideal introduction to the art of cross country skiing.
For the more advanced the 5km trail is interesting and provides more challenging skiing. For the experienced skier there is access to the beautiful Baw Baw plateau, and you can ski to Mt St. Gwinear, Mt St. Phillack, Mustering Flat and the Alpine Walking Track. Trail maps are available at the main ticket office and various outlets in the resort.
Mt Baw Baw has become a popular snowboarding destination. There are a number of hot spots at Mt Baw Baw, the Jeep track provides a natural half pipe, there's great carving terrain and boundless areas to explore between the trees as well as natural obstacles and specially prepared jumps.
Snow tubing is an exciting new form of snow sports that the whole family can enjoy. Imagine meandering down a winding chute and experiencing the thrills of curves, banks and bumps in a white winter wonderland. So why not visit the resort this winter and experience it for yourself.
